buy Kiln dried firewood
Kiln-dried firewood is easier to light, burns hotter, and emits almost no smoke. Kiln-dried wood burns so efficiently because the flame does not waste any energy boiling water out of the log, leaving little ash or soot behind after the fire is done, resulting in a clean fireplace.
Kiln-Dried Firewood is distinguished by the fact that it is cooked in the kiln for more than 24 hours, with chamber temperatures remaining constant at 250 degrees. This kills all bugs and mould and keeps the moisture content consistent at 8-12 percent. The moisture content of regular seasoned firewood can range from 12 to 25 percent. This difference in moisture content is what distinguishes our Kiln-Dried Firewood as the best product available in Northern Virginia. Once you’ve tried Kiln-Dried Firewood, you’ll be amazed at the difference!
